OCTOBER 17 - 19 Hotel Enjoy PUERTO VARAS
AIM OF INSAR REGIONAL MEETING 2019 CHILE
The first Regional INSAR was held in 2015 in Shanghai with the second Regional INSAR taking place in September of 2017 in South Africa. This is the first time this crucial meeting will be hosted in South America. Latin America suffers from a lack in awareness in regards to autism and is in dire need of integrating crucial interventions such as early diagnosis into their health care systems. There is also an urgent need in the region to integrate basic research into translational and life changing clinical practice. Regional INSAR Chile will provide a crucial platform for greater collaboration in South America, helping autism professionals and researchers in the region to share information and best practice. The conference seeks to start a regional dialogue on autism in the conference’s participating countries.
It will also provide opportunities to establish new research partnerships, discuss concrete strategies to improve service delivery to individuals with autism in Latin America, engage parent organizations and contribute to the further development of these groups and promote initiatives in participating countries that improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families.
Our main goal is to increase INSAR’s role and participation in Latin America and developing countries. INSAR Regional Meeting 2019 Chile will be held in partnership with local research, clinical, and stakeholder groups. We believe that INSAR Regional Meeting Chile will have a key impact in the region.
